Chocolate Peanut Butter Fat Bombs
These are a fantastic treat for a newly postpartum Mom (or anyone who likes an easy, delicious and filling little treat).
Adding fat and protein to a sweet treat helps to avoid big blood sugar spikes which can lead to low energy, cravings, anxiety and more.
The recipe is made for easy-to-remember ratios:
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup maple syrup
Melt together, pour into molds, freeze and then put in the fridge.
A creamy and healthier version of a Reese peanut butter cup!
These have been a hit for many postpartum Mamas, my kids, my patients, and at Robin’s Nest Family Care staff socials!
