This course provides foundational tools to address common root causes of these concerns to create more peaceful mealtimes and better eating habits.

Picky eating can be a normal part of development for preschoolers, but when it continues over the years it’s more difficult to address. We want to put strategies in place now!

 Why our course

As an Occupational Therapist (Shannon) and Naturopathic Doctor (Janine), we have a unique skill set that looks at improving kids’ function in day-to-day life and understanding the building blocks for their nutrition and digestion.

We’re big research nerds so it’s important for us to stay up-to-date with the most recently studied interventions and observations.

We’re busy parents with three kids each.  We know how chaotic and challenging parenting can be, and how important it is to provide very practical and concise recommendations, along with loads and loads of grace.

This is the BEST and most INEXPENSIVE way for us to give you all of the foundations - it’s much more efficient than private appointments.  If you need further private support once you’ve completed the course we can skip all of these pieces and jump into your unique situation which helps us to accelerate the process and see more efficient results.

We REALLY want you to succeed, and we truly think this is the best place to start.

You will walk away with practical , evidence-based strategies you can use immediately to encourage your child to comfortably try new foods and to decrease the stress around meal times for your entire family.  Research show us that picky eating tends to get worse with age if not addressed.  We want to put these pieces in place now!

Can’t wait for you to join us!

FAQs

  • The course is a digital purchase - you will immediately get a file with all of the module content: recordings, handouts, and bonuses. You will have access to this indefinitely. We will send out the occasional e-mail afterwards to help you stay on track and provide further support.

  • In our patient visits, we just don’t have enough time to dive into the ins and outs of each of these concepts. Purchasing this course will give you all of the foundational knowledge you need to get started, and in a much more cost-effective way.

  • Absolutely! Once you’ve completed the course it means that our one-on-one time can be very efficient and we can jump past these foundational knowledge pieces and right into strategizing for your unique family.

  • $125 (no tax!). This is exceptional value and an amazing investment into your child’s health. This is less than a single one-on-one session with Shannon or Janine and covers much more than we can cover in an appointment.

    • Janine is a Naturopathic doctor. She works with children and women to understand all of the factors contributing to their overall health: digestion, nutrition, stress, sleep, etc. She supports families to put building blocks in place for lifelong health. Her primary patient population are families looking for nutritional support and women with hormonal concerns.

    • Shannon is an Occupational therapist. She is passionate about supporting children and families with a specific focus on managing self regulation challenges, anxiety, and challenges with eating. Shannon believes that all children do well if they can, and has found that when kids are having difficulty there is almost always a lagging skill or unsolved problem at its root. She uses evidence-based therapeutic strategies to build up that lagging skill and to collaboratively solve problems, and finds that this is often how long lasting change happen.
