Sweet Potato Sausage Bake

This recipe is a super simple and hearty crockpot meal.  End result is stew-type dish.


Ingredients:

  • 5 sausages - pierce the casing

  • 3 large apples ~ 1” pieces

  • 3 sweet potatoes ~ 1” pieces

  • 3 potatoes ~ ½“ pieces

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • 1 TBSP honey

  • 1.5 cup soup broth (or water with ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp black pepper)

  • 2 cups chopped greens (kale, arugula, spinach…) (ADD AS DESIRED AT END)

Instructions:

  • Put everything in crockpot except greens.

  • Cook until sausage is done and potatoes are soft.

  • Add greens at the end.
