There is not a lot of regulation around skincare products, meaning that there are many products on the market containing certain ingredients that have been linked to cancer progression, skin allergies, and hormone disruption. The words ‘natural’ or ‘organic’ don’t always mean that the product contains the best ingredients, and sunscreens often include penetration enhancers which actually increase their absorption into the body. So what should I be slathering all over my body and my kids?
